Jane M. (Diggins) O'Connor
YORK - Jane M. (Diggins) O'Connor, 55, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 25, 2006.She was born in Brighton, Mass., the daughter of Patrick J. and Jane T. (O'Brien) Diggins and was a graduate of Northeastern University and Suffolk University. She had worked for Great Bay Services in Portsmouth, N.H., and was a volunteer with York Hospice.
She leaves her husband of 24 years, Denis O'Connor; a son, Brian D. O'Connor of York; a brother, Thomas P. Diggins and his wife Christine Diggins of York; a sister, Elizabeth A. Meins and her husband William Meins of Manchester, N.H.; her mother-in-law, Margaret O'Connor of Braintree, Mass.; three sisters-in-law, Sheila O'Connor of Braintree, Mass., Patricia Bates and her husband Tom Bates of Franklin, Mass., and Mary Denise Ni'Connor and her husband James Kidney of Nashua, N.H.; a brother-in-law, Kevin O'Connor of New York City, and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Jane will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31, in the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Road, York.
Burial will follow in First Parish Cemetery, York.
