The Museums of Old York are seeking volunteers for the summer season
YORK VILLAGE - If you have some time to spare and would like to get involved with the community, meet new people, have fun and support a good cause, please call the Old York Historical Society right away.Old York is a non-profit organization that operates and maintains eight historic museum buildings in York Village.
The organization is looking for volunteers to help work in the Museum Shop one shift per week for the season; there are still a couple of shifts left to fill.
The Decorator Show House, Old York's annual fundraiser, needs hundreds of volunteers to operate for the four weeks it is open to the public.
The volunteer recruitment committee is busy scheduling now for the weeks of July 15 - August 12.
