There were enough clubs for everyone to try at the Cape Neddick Country Club's annual Demonstration Day, held on June 6. The event allows members and the public alike to get a look at and feel for the most advanced golf club technology on the market today. Sales representatives from Ping, Odyssey, Cleveland, Taylor Made, Titleist, Callaway and Cobra joined Club PGA Professional Dave Perroni and his staff on the driving range to provide plenty of education and instruction for all in attendance.

Last week Tuesday June 6, the ninth seeded Yarmouth Clippers (9-8) defeated the York High Wildcats (9-8) in a Western Maine preliminary game by the final score of 14-6.
Sports Awards
Last Monday, June 12, York Athletic Director Ted Welch recognized the 340 participants in York High Spring Sports and thanked parents, players and participants for their cooperation in dealing with the many postponements caused by "the record rains of May and June."
