Sunday, June 1110:15 p.m. Marcello J. Desario, 18, of 77 Raynes Neck Road, York, was charged with possession of a useable amount of marijuana on Southside Road. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Aug. 10.
Monday, June 12
7:20 a.m. A 2004 Ford van operated by Giselle Ferreira Desouza, 23, of 24 Abbey Road, York, owned by Nina A. Mitchell of 24 Abbey Road, ran off Main Street and struck a Central Maine Power Company utility pole. Damage to the van was estimated at $5,000.
12:01 p.m. A 2002 Dodge van operated by Elizabeth Poole, 72, of 366 Sawyer Drive, Cudjoe Key, Fla., and a 2005 Nissan sedan operated by John L. David, 41, of 26 Glengarry Drive, Stratham, N.H., were in collision on York Street. Damage was estimated at $1,500 to the Dodge, $500 to the Nissan.
6:17 p.m. A 1998 GMC sport utility vehicle operated by Corey D. Hathorne, 49, of 30 Clark Road, York, received an estimated $2,000 in damage when it struck a deer on Main Street. The deer ran off into the woods.
Tuesday, June 13
9:15 a.m. A 2000 Honda sedan operated by Delwyn P. Rowe, 80, of 73 Scotland Bridge Road, York, and a 1999 Chevrolet sedan owned by Harry C. King of 18 Sheru Lane, York, and operated by Bly L. Finn, 32, of 4 Partridge Lane, Berwick, were in collision on Route 1 at the intersection with the Spur Road. Damage was estimated at $1,500 to the Honda, $2,000 to the Chevrolet.
11:09 a.m. Jill Prinopoulos, 27, of 13 Morgan Way, Dover, N.H., was charged with forgery on Beech Ridge Road. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court Aug. 10.
4:45 p.m. Devin Kirby, 28, of 34 Woodside Drive, Kennebunk, was charged with violation of conditions of release on Route 1. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Aug. 10.
9:30 p.m. A 1993 Mazda two-door operated by David V. Gibson, 61, of 31 Pepperell Road, Kittery Point, and a 1997 Dodge sedan operated by George B. Major, 67, of 15 Picott Road, Kittery, were in collision on Shore Road. Damage was estimated at $1,500 to the Mazda, $2,500 to the Dodge.
9:55 p.m. A 2001 BMW sedan owned by Susan Dunfey of 13 Kings Road, York, struck a deer on Godfrey Cove Road. Damage to the BMW was estimated at $2,000.
Wednesday, June 14
9:40 a.m. A 2006 Chrysler sedan operated by Susan G. Morrison, 58, of 15 Clearwater Drive, Dover, N.H., owned by Stephen M. Morrison of 2050 Roanoke Road, Westlake Texas, and a 2002 Toyota sedan operated by Peter R. Britt, 67, of 7 Triple Oak Drive, Cape Neddick, were in collision on Route 1 at the intersection of Old Post Road. Damage was estimated at $2,500 to the Chrysler, $2,000 to the Toyota. Britt was subsequently charged with criminal operating under the influence and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.
10:56 a.m. A representative of the Long Sands General Store on Long Beach Avenue reported a window shattered by a pellet or BB gun. Damage was estimated at $100.
1:35 p.m. A representative of The Goldenrod in York Beach reported receiving a counterfeit $10 bill. Police are investigating.
Thursday, June 15
12:10 p.m. A 1998 Volvo sedan operated by Laura I. Davis, 59, of 18 Sparrow Lane, York, owned by Vaughan E. Davis of the same address, and a 1994 Dodge van operated by Kirsten L. Glidden, 17, of 2 Angel Ave., York, owned by Dennis A. Glidden of 30 County Road, Cape Neddick, were in collision on Route 1 at the intersection of Old Post Road. Damage was estimated at $1,000 to the Volvo, $600 to the Dodge.
2:45 p.m. A 17-year-old Stratham, N.H., boy was charged with theft by unauthorized taking at Short Sands Park in York Beach. He is charged with taking a skim board from the bowling alley and is scheduled to appear in York Juvenile Court July 3.
3:29 p.m. Norman Edwin Phillips, 61, of 6 Blanchard St., Wells, was charged with criminal operating under the influence and refusing to submit to arrest or detention on Route 1 at Old Post Road. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.
6:36 p.m. James M. Cahill, 19, of 13 Main St., York, was charged with violation of conditions of release at Short Sands Park in York Beach. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Aug. 10.
A 17-year-old York boy was charged with illegal possession of liquor by a minor at Short Sands Park in York Beach. He is scheduled to appear in York Juvenile Court July 3.
8:13 p.m. Craig C. Coulombe, 32, of 374 Main St., Auburn, was charged with assault, failure to provide a correct name and address to police and violation of conditions of release on Route 1. He was taken to York County Jail and is scheduled to appear in York District Court Aug. 10.
Friday, June 16
7:26 a.m. A representative of the Inn at Long Sands reported vandalism to a fountain that was taken from the inn and thrown on the rocks at York Beach. Damage was estimated at $250.
1:50 p.m. Kathryn Glasson, 33, of 2 Southside Road, York, was charged with keeping an unlicensed dog on Southside Road. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court Aug. 10.
8:30 p.m. A 1998 Dodge pickup truck operated by Kimberly G. Tetu, 36, of 336 Ridlon Road, Berwick, ran off Mountain Road and struck an embankment. Damage to the Dodge was estimated at $5,000. Tetu was subsequently charged with operating/allowing operation while registration is suspended, failure to notify police of an accident by the quickest possible means, and imprudent speed. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court Aug. 10.
Saturday, June 17
12:15 p.m. A 2001 Jeep sport utility vehicle operated by Nicholas L. Gough, 26, of 68 Winnicut Road, Stratham, N.H., and a 2001 Ford sedan operated by Richard G. Leaper of 18 Underwood Ave., Mechanicsville, N.Y., were in collision a parking lot off Harris Island Road. Damage was estimated at $1,200 to the Jeep, $1,000 to the Ford.
6:50 p.m. The York Water District reported someone had thrown a large rock through a sign on the gate at the district's property on Chase's Pond Road. Damage was estimated at $200.
