There were some very special guests at this past weekend's Point of View Garden Tour fundraiser for the Old York Historical Society on Saturday, June 24. The Mad Hatter, March Hare, and Alice in Wonderland had a tea party at Ros Fedeli's River Current Studio on Lindsay Road. "Alice" is Mia Briggs of York, with Ron Ames as the March Hare and Frank Frisbee as the Mad Hatter is Frank Frisbee. The dormouse was played by the dormouse.

It was with sadness that I noted the passing of longtime York Beach resident Ellen Peters, who was a well-known and highly regarded presence in the local antiques trade.
