Zachary Chase has received an Associate's Degree in forestry from the Thompson School of Applied Science at the University of New Hampshire. He was recognized at Commencement as one of six students to have achieved highest honors. Chase will continue his studies in the fall.Meghan Pearl Eaton of York, the daughter of Randy and Nancy Eaton, recently graduated from the independent, character-based Hyde School in Woodstock, Conn., and received an award for The Learning Triangle.
Daniel Kavanagh of York received a Bachelor of Science degree in food service management from the Hospitality College at the Providence Campus commencement ceremony of Johnson & Wales University, Providence, R.I., held in May.
Joshua C. Macri of York has accepted membership in The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS). Joshua will be honored during and Induction Convocation this fall on the campus of Syracuse University.
Jeremiah S. Pearson of Cape Neddick received a BSBA degree during the May commencement ceremonies at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont. Pearson was a business administration major in the School of Business Administration.
Christine Peskurich of Moody was awarded a Master of Arts degree in special education from Saint Joseph College in West Hartford, Conn., at commencement exercises on Sunday, May 21.
Jaye W. Rothermel, son of Daniel and Hannah Rothermel of York, has been named to the spring 2006 semester Dean's List as a May graduate majoring in business administration at St. Michael's College in the Burlington, Vt., area.
Meredith B. Woodbury of York recently graduated from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn.
