York Public Library announces extended hours
YORK VILLAGE - The York Public Library is pleased to announce its new, extended hours of service will begin on July 1.Made possible by the passage of its budget in the May referendum, the new hours are Tuesday through Thursday from10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The extended mid-week evening hours will allow the library to better serve the residents and visitors who may find it inconvenient to visit during normal working hours, thus further enhancing the library as a center of learning and activity in York.
The York Public Library is located at 15 Long Sands Road in York.
