AWS 2006 Summer Youth Workshops are here
KENNEBUNK - The Animal Welfare Society will hold its annual summer workshop sessions beginning July 10 through Aug. 31 for children ages 9 through 14.The children will have an opportunity to experience life at the AWS with our fun-loving, furry friends.
The program has proven to be a rewarding opportunity for the children who actively participate in the care and socialization of our shelter animals. We have a fun, new agenda this year as well as a new craft idea to make for the animals here at the shelter.
"We look forward to another fun filled summer with kids and animals - our two favorite things!" said AWS Program Coordinator Katie Dolloff.
The youth program for ages 9 to 11 is available in July and offers a one-day and three-day camp.
The senior program for ages 12 to 14 runs during August and also has a one-day and three-day camp each week.
The registration fee is $65 for the one-day class and $160 for the three-day option.
