Summer always brings us that much-anticipated event, the Old York Historical Society's annual Decorator Show House. Join the Historical Society of Wells and Ogunquit and the Friends of the Wells Public Library on Tuesday, July 18, when Eve LaPlante, author of "American Jezebel," comes to the area. There has been talk of adding Chinese to the language curriculum in York. This is a progressive, contemporary, practical thought. Artists Nancy Davison and Hara Harding will be on hand at the Barn Gallery at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, to discuss different approaches to printmaking.
