Two area men promoted to key posts at Kennebunk Savings Bank

YORK - Two Southern York County residents with close ties to both York and Ogunquit were recently promoted to senior vice president positions at Kennebunk Savings Bank.

Brad Paige
Brad Paige of Kennebunk is now the bank's senior vice president/chief financial officer while Eric Andrews has been promoted to the position of senior vice president/senior lender.

With both promotions come changes that KSB officials hope will only improve customer service and product offerings in the future.

As Paige put it, though the changes may loom large internally, customers should not experience any changes in service at all.

"As far as our customers go, much of the management transition itself will be seamless," he said. "We've got great tenure and continuity in the majority of our customer-facing positions. … The customers are going to benefit greatly from the changes we're making in the lending areas. Faster turnaround times on decisions, faster closings and the development of additional lending products are just a few of the results they'll see. They'll also be seeing the development of additional deposit products in the short to mid-term."

Paige is a graduation of St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y., where he earned a Bachelor's degree in economics and government after graduating from Kennebunk High School in 1984.

Paige has been with Kennebunk Savings since 1998 and, out of the office, has served as a member of the York Rotary Club, Wells Rotary Club, York SHIPS Mentoring Program and the Wells-Ogunquit Community Connections Mentoring Program. He is also an active volunteer and past president of the Kennebunk-Kennebunkport Little League as well as a board member of the Child Abuse Prevention Council.

Eric Andrews
Andrews, too, has strong ties to the local communities.

He has served as president of the Ogunquit Rotary, where he received the Paul Harris Fellowship Award, and currently serves as treasurer and board member for the Historical Society of Wells and Ogunquit. Andrews is also a board member of WABAN Projects, Inc., and has been active in working on projects for that organization in Sanford and is an active member and usher at the Wells Congregational Church.

"Eric is the senior lender, responsible for origination, product development and special assets," said KSB Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer Lorraine Boston. "He is attentive and provides a high level of customer service. Eric understands the value of developing relationships and meeting the needs of our customers in the marketplace."

After graduating from the University of Maine at Orono, he continued on to earn his Master's degree from the University of Southern Maine and is also a graduate of the New England School of Banking at Williams College.

Andrews has been with Kennebunk Savings Bank for seven years.

"I've seen him come along as a young, new banker," said Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Fred Scott, who has known Andrews for more than 20 years, adding, "and I've seen him rise in the industry to the top of his game."
