Golf tourney to benefit The Dream Factory
YORK - The Maine Chapter of The Dream Factory will hold its 16th Annual Dream Factory Open Golf Tournament on Friday, Sept. 22, at the Cape Neddick Country Club on Shore Road.The tournament will be a shotgun start beginning at 1 p.m.
The entry fee is $135 per person or $500 for a team. The fee includes 18 holes of golf with cart, hole-in-one prize, a goody bag and steak a tip and barbeque chicken dinner at the club.
Players can register by calling Lynn Lynch at 439-5055 or sending team names and a check for $500 to The Dream Factory, Box 653, Cape Neddick, Me 03902.
Sign-up sheets can also be picked up at Norma's Restaurant on Route 1.
Those who cannot play in the tournament but want to be a sponsor can obtain information by calling Lynch.
The Dream Factory's Maine Chapter is a non-profit organization that grants the dreams of seriously and chronically ill children between the ages of three and 18.
