Underage drinking parties result in multiple arrests

YORK - Two parties attended by minors were broken up by the York Police Department during the past two weeks, resulting in two charges of furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol and multiple charges of illegal possession of liquor by minors.Sunday, July 17, just after 11:30 p.m., Nancy E. Wayne, 20, of 17 Apple Gate Lane, Reading, Mass., was charged with furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol at a home on Midnight Drive.
Less than one week later, on Saturday, July 22, Tess L. Forrest, 20, of 114 Beech Ridge Road, was charged with furnishing a place for minors to consume liquor on Beech Ridge Road.
Forrest is scheduled to appear in York District Court on Oct. 5 and Wayne has a court date of Sept. 7.
Those charged on Midnight Drive include Lauren D. Gard, 18, of 3024 Lana Lane, Marietta, Ga.; Ryan Trulle, 18, of 7 Draper Drive, Wilmington, Mass.; Kendra Mayote, 19, of 477 Elgin Ave., Manchester, N.H.; Caleb Israel-Little, 19, of 4 Hamlin Place, York, and Alexander A. Putnam, 19, of Box 435, York.
They are all scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 7.
Charged in connection with the Beech Ridge Road incident are Jennifer Gross, 20, of 130 Bellwood Ave., West Seneca, N.Y.; Michael O'Donnell, 20, of 39 Twin Brook Circle, Bradford, Mass.; Megan K. Sweeney, 20, of 35 Boban St., York; Meaghan Cahill, 20, of 151 Chapel Road, North Hampton, N.H.; Polina Orlova, 20, of 86 Turnpike St., North Andover, Mass.; Sarah J. Trafton, 20, of 81 Chase's Pond Road, York; Andrew Horner, 20, of 1320 Saxon Lane, Naperville, Ill., and a 17-year-old York male.
They are scheduled to be in court on Oct. 5.
Police declined to comment further on the specifics of the cases.
