St. George's promises a sweet treat: Chocolate Fest 2006
YORK HARBOR - Cioccolata, chocola, schokolade, chocolate.No matter how you say it, chocolate fans agree: it just can't be beat.
And if you're craving that most delightful of sugar-filled sweets, you need go no further than St. George's Episcopal Church to satiate your craving. On Friday, Aug. 11, St. George's Annual Chocolate Fest will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
For those of you who need immediate gratification, the Chocolate Café will be open and serving sinfully tasty treats. For those of you with the patience of Job, there will be divine chocolate goodies to purchase and take home
And it's all for a good cause. Proceeds from the event will benefit St. George's Church Library and other programs.
Special thanks go out to The Goldenrod and Sweet Josie's in York Beach; Pie in the Sky in Cape Neddick; When Pigs Fly, Food & Company and The Stolen Menu Café in York; Harbor Candy Shop and Perkins and Perkins in Ogunquit; Yummies and Pepperidge Farm in Kittery; Byrne & Carlson in Portsmouth; Divine Chocolate, Hannaford's and, of course, the ladies from the church who will be donating their favorite chocolate delights.
