Safe boating course offered
BIDDEFORD - The Saco Bay Flotilla of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary is pleased to present "How to Read a Nautical Chart."Charts contain a wealth of information, but you need to know how to properly read and interpret it.
This two-lesson class will unlock the mystery of the nautical chart. The class will be held on Aug. 16 and 17 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The fee is $65 and includes Nigel Calder text, local chart and plotting tools.
Classes are held at the University of New Englad Biddeford Campus, Decary Hall, Room 202.
