Exhibits on tap at OMAA
OGUNQUIT - The months ahead promise much in the way of American painting and a lot more at the Ogunquit Museum of American Art.Ongoing now through Aug. 21, it's "The 139th American Society of Painters in Watercolor" and "Britain in Black and White: Photographs by Conrad Marvin."
From Aug. 27 through Oct. 31, see "The Figure in American Painting and drawing, 1985-2005" and "The Prints of Peggy Bacon."
The museum is closed Aug 22-26 for re-hanging exhibits, on Sept. 2 for the annual art auction and on Labor Day, Sept. 4.
Otherwise, the Ogunquit Museum of American Art, located at 543 Shore Road, is open July 1 through Oct. 31, Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.
Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $3 for students and free for members and children under the age of 12.
