Monday, July 3112:57 a.m. Evan Gaudreau, 30, of 301 Newbury St., Danvers, Mass., was charged with public indecency at Short Sands Park. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.
10 a.m. A 1997 Chevrolet two-door owned by Michael Putnam of 8 Paul St., York Beach, operated by a 16-year-old York Beach girl, and a 2003 truck owned by Penske Trucking Co. of 10 Green Hills, Reading, Pa., operated by Francis P. Coakley of 129 Lowell St., Peabody, Mass., were in collision on Long Beach Avenue. Damage was estimated at $3,000 to the Chevrolet. There was no damage to the truck.
12:44 p.m. A Falmouth man reported the theft of a cell phone valued at $250 from an unlocked 2002 BMW while it was parked on Ocean Avenue.
6:59 p.m. A 17-year-old Braintree, Mass., boy was charged with possession of tobacco products by a person under 18 on Railroad Avenue in York Beach. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.
8:30 p.m. A Natick, Mass., woman reported an attempt to break into her car on Ocean Avenue. There were several scratches around the rear passenger side door handle but no entry was apparently gained. There was no estimate of damage.
Tuesday, Aug. 1
1:30 p.m. A 1996 Saab sedan operated by Lorraine F. Previte, 59, of 103 Lancaster Drive, Tewksbury, Mass.; a 2002 Nissan sedan operated by Linda L. Russell, 65, of 71 Gould Road, Lisbon Falls, and a 1999 Chevrolet pickup truck owned by Jeremy's Lawn Care of 10 Second St., York, operated by Adam W. Poor, 21, of 1258 South Road, Hopkinton, N.H., were involved in a chain-reaction collision on Route 1. Damage was estimated at $3,000 to the Saab, $6,000 to the Nissan and $500 to the Chevrolet.
4:39 p.m. Todd D. Hazlett, 36, of 136 High St., Sanford, was charged with operating while a license is suspended or revoked on Clay Hill Road. He was released on $300 bail and is scheduled to appear in York District Court Nov. 9.
8:24 p.m. Dumitro Alexan Minca, 21, of 180 York St. was charged with failure to stop for a law enforcement officer, operating an unregistered vehicle, driving to endanger, and operating without being licensed on York Street. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Nov. 9.
10 p.m. Thomas J. Hanlon, 32, of 9 Elizabeth Lane, was charged with theft of services when he took his car from Highland Towing on Tow Way without paying $300 in charges. He was taken to York County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.
Wednesday, Aug. 2
7:32 a.m. A Cape Neddick man reported two mailboxes smashed and a barricade moved from the collapsed bridge site on Logging Road. The mailboxes were valued at $60 each.
11 a.m. A 2003 Oldsmobile sedan operated by Andre Chevalier, 67, of 175 Boul Deguire Apt. 1408, Saint-Lauren, Quebec, Canada, and a 1995 Ford station wagon owned by Maiken S. Kences and operated by James E. Kences, 48, of Box 257, York Harbor, were in collision on York Street at the Aldis Lane intersection. Damage was estimated at $2,000 to the Oldsmobile, $500 to the Ford.
3:54 p.m. Kimberly Snow, 42, of 985 Jane's Farm Road, Stratford, Conn., was charged with theft by unauthorized taking at Joan's Beach and Gift Shop in York Beach. Items taken included a pair of lobster pants, a bookmark and candles valued at over $50. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.
10:05 p.m. John Gray, 48, of 95 Enterprise St., Duxbury, Mass., was charged with burning without a permit on Ridge Road. Firefighters were called to extinguish the blaze. He is scheduled to appear in York District court Oct. 5.

3:25 a.m. Joseph Michaud, 18, of 2 Old Homestead Lane, Berwick, was charged with trafficking in dangerous knives at Short Sands Park in York Beach. He is scheduled to appear in York District court Oct. 5.
9:07 a.m. Thomas J. Hanlon, 32, of 9 Elizabeth Lane, York, was charged with violation of conditions of release on Elizabeth Lane. He was taken to York County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.
3:11 p.m. Stephen Pendergast, 44, of 41 Whispering Pines, was charged with operating under the influence and failure to notify the owner of an unattended vehicle of an accident on Mountain Road. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Nov. 9.
9:30 p.m. Shannon Coughlin, 18, of 60 Reservoir St., Brockton, Mass., was charged with possession of a useable amount of marijuana on Railroad Avenue. Coughlin is scheduled to appear in York District court Oct. 5.
9:30 p.m. Matthew Flaherty, 19, of 336 Hillberg Ave., Brockton, Mass., was charged with illegal transportation of liquor by a minor on Railroad Avenue. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.
9:30 p.m. Charles F. Martell, 20, of 26 Anderson Road, Framingham, Mass., was charged with unlawful possession of scheduled drugs on Railroad Avenue. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.
Friday, Aug. 4
1:39 a.m. Brittany Decker, 19, of 21 Windmill Acres Road, was charged with violation of conditions of release on Windmill Acres Road. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.
3:20 a.m. Freddie Maldonado, 29, of 714 Merrimack St., Lowell, Mass., was charged with possession of a suspended license on Route 1. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Nov. 9.
3:40 p.m. A 2004 Nissan sedan operated by Bryan D. Saurman, 26, of 22 Stephen Eston Lane, Wells; a 2005 Ford sedan owned by Jeannine M. Murphy and operated by Richard F. Murphy, 69, of 29 Hy Road, Westminster, Mass., and a 2006 Cadillac sedan operated by Philip A. Bistany, 68, of 405 Forest St., Methuen, Mass., were involved in a chain-reaction collision on Route 1. Damage was estimated at $7,000 to the Nissan, $2,000 to the Ford and $600 to the Cadillac.
10:38 p.m. A 16-year-old York boy was charged with illegal possession of tobacco products at Short Sands Park. He is schedule to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.
11:33 p.m. A 17-year-old Alton, Mass., boy was charged with failure to notify police of an accident by the quickest possible means. No court date was listed.
Saturday, Aug. 5
1:26 a.m. Vernon Saunders, 28, of 998 East Lake Road, Skaneateles, N.Y., was charged with possession of a useable amount of marijuana on Ocean Avenue. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.
10:11 a.m. Cigi L-M Banker, 20, of 10 Beechwood Lane, West Lebanon, N.H., was charged with endangering the welfare of a child at Short Sands Park. She was taken to York County Jail. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5. The Department of Health and Human Services is caring for the child.
10:40 a.m. A 2003 Buck sedan operated by Elaine L. Hanton, 82, of 3 Long Cove Road, York, and a 2006 Toyota two-door parked at pick-your-own blueberries on South Berwick Road by John J. Castellano, 70, of 7 Ox Point Drive, Kittery, were in collision. Damage was estimated at $400 to the Buick, $1,200 to the Toyota.
1:45 p.m. A 2003 Chevrolet sedan operated by Denise M. Yegge, 35, of 97 Main St., South Berwick, and a 2001 Ford pickup truck operated by David J. Avery, 35, of 14 Elm St., Dracut, Mass., were in collision on Berwick Road at North Village Road. Damage was estimated at $8,000 to each vehicle.
4:32 p.m. A 2000 Dodge sedan owned by Christina A. Mallahan of 8B Akron Ave., South Berwick, operated by a 16-year-old South Berwick girl; a 2004 Dodge sedan parked by Melissa L. Hartford, 35, of 62 Barberry Lane, Raymond, N.H., and a 2006 Chrysler van owned by Rental Car Finance Corp. of 5330 East 31st St., Tulsa, Okla., parked by Jason R. Swartz, 33, of 37 Dewey St., Saugus, Mass., were in collision in the York Wild Kingdom parking lot on Railroad Avenue. Damage was estimated at $3,000 to the 2000 Dodge, $4,000 to the 2004 Dodge and $2,000 to the Chrysler.
10:05 p.m. Justin Santinello, 23, of 12 River St., Agawam, Mass., was charged with possession of a useable amount of marijuana on Cape Neddick Road. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.
11:12 p.m. Michael J. Rawdon, 21, of 16 Leslie Drive, Worcester, Mass., was charged with furnishing liquor to a minor at Short Sands Park. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.
11:37 p.m. A 16-year-old York female was charged with sale/use of drug paraphernalia on Orchard Farm Road. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court Sept. 25.
11:37 p.m. A 16-year-old York male was charged with possession of tobacco products on Orchard Farm Road. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.
11:39 p.m. Branden Nightingale, 18, of 27 Winfield Lane, Lyman, was charged with illegal possession of liquor by a minor at Short Sands Park. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.
11:39 p.m. Zachary S. Dufort, 19, of 15 Helenfield Drive, Alfred, was charged with illegal possession of liquor by a minor at Short Sands Park. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.
