York's Wild Kingdom plans up for discussion
YORK HARBOR - Local residents were invited to a discussion of possible plans for the future of York's Wild Kingdom and the approximately 80 acres on which it stands at a special meeting Tuesday evening.Although the meeting occurred after press time, prior to the event Oscar Plotkin of Berkshire Development and his local liaison, Bob Dunfey, invited residents to share their thoughts, concerns and hopes for the project, which is in its most preliminary stages.
The Tuesday evening meeting follows up on an April event held in York Beach to gather similar public input.
