Capriccio is coming to Ogunquit and so are the Red Shoes

OGUNQUIT - Ogunquit Performing Arts has announced the dates of Capriccio 2006 as Sept. 2 through 17.

Ogunquit's two-week long, town-wide festival of the arts will feature Poets in Person, a harpsichord recital, art auctions, art films, classic films, discussions at the museum and gallery, a sing-a-long, kite festival, live theatre, Tango Night, an antique show and sale, and exhibitions at the Barn Gallery, Ogunquit Museum of American Art and the Ogunquit Historical Museum at the Winn House.

According to Stuart Nudelman, chairman of Ogunquit Performing Arts, "Ballet has been the highlight and finale of this celebration and this year we are presenting Maine's own Bossov Ballet with their presentation of a newly choreographed Red Shoes on Sunday, Sept. 17, at 3 p.m."
