Ogunquit Sidewalk Art Festival set for Thursday
OGUNQUIT - A total of 65 artists from as far away as New York City and as near as York will be participating in the 33rd Annual Sidewalk Art Festival, sponsored by the Ogunquit Chamber of Commerce.The event will be held on Thursday, Aug. 24, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Artists will be displaying their works on Main Street, Shore Road, Beach Street and parts of the parking lot at Cottage Street for the day.
Chamber President Eleanor Vadenais said she is looking forward to the event.
"We've had a terrific turnout from the artists - a fabulous response, really. We're keeping our fingers crossed for a perfect weather day," she said.
The chamber has plugged in a rain date of Friday, Aug. 25, as an alternate in case the weather doesn't cooperate.
