Don't miss out on AWS Summer Youth Camps
KENNEBUNK - The Animal Welfare Society is holding its annual summer workshop sessions through August 31.The children will have an opportunity to experience life at the AWS with the society's fun-loving, furry friends.
"We still have spaces open in our Monday one-day camps and some in our Tuesday through Thursday three-day camps so please hurry to sign up and make sure you don't miss out on this great opportunity," said Program Coordinator Katie Dolloff.
The program has proven to be a rewarding opportunity for the children who actively participate in the care and socialization of the shelter animals.
There is a fun, new agenda this year as well as a new craft idea to make for the animals at the shelter. The registration fee is $65 for the one-day class and $160 for the three-day.
