Dream Factory Open set for Sept. 22
CAPE NEDDICK - The 16th Annual Dream Factory Open will be played at the Cape Neddick Country Club on Friday, Sept. 22.The tournament will be a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
The entry fee into the tournament is $125 per person, $500 per team of four players. Entry includes 18 holes of golf with a cart; hole-in-one prize; first, second and third place awards, a goody bag and dinner at the Cape Neddick Country Club.
Teams may register by calling Lynn Lynch at 439-5055 or by sending team names and checks to the Dream Factory, Box 653, Cape Neddick, ME 03902. Signup sheets can also be picked up at Norma's Restaurant on Route 1 in York.
Those unable to play in the tournament can become sponsors. For information, call Lynch at 439-5055.
The Maine Dream Factory is a non-profit organization that grants the dreams of seriously and chronically ill children. The organization relies on fundraising to grant those dreams and the golf tournament is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year.
