A WALK ON THE ARTSY SIDE
The 33rd Annual Sidewalk Art Show sponsored by the Ogunquit Chamber of Commerce was held on Thursday, Aug. 24, and was well attended - despite overcast skies.
"Actually, the weather worked to our advantage," said Ogunquit Chamber of Commerce Director Eleanor Vadenais. "People weren't on the beach as much and went to the art show instead. I talked to several artists and they said they did well that day."
The winners of the Sidewalk Art Show, pictured here, represented three different media. First place went to an etching by Bob Askey of Keene, N.H.; second place was for a photograph by Robin Logan of Shelburne Falls, Mass., and third place was awarded to an oil painting by Stephen Previte of Hollis, N.H.
The judges for this year's event were Ann Legg, Norman West and Ron Prevoir.
