Pauly

Pauly
What a great mix! My name is Pauly and I am a three-year-old American Staffordshire terrier/boxer mix. I was brought to the shelter because my family did not have enough time for me. AMStaffs and boxers are very intelligent breeds. They are also both working breeds. While at the shelter, I was a model at the Back to School fashion show at the Maine Mall. The volunteers here made a tuxedo vest and a western style vest for me to wear. I looked equally good in both styles. I was paired up with Meadow, the German shepherd, when I was wearing my tux because she was wearing an evening gown vest. I get along with some dogs, but would prefer to be the only dog living in the house. My prey drive does not allow me to live with cats, sorry. Because I am on the powerful side, kids over eight are the best match for me. Bring your kids in to meet me! I am housetrained. I have been going with one of my favorite volunteers to the shelter dog obedience class on Thursdays. She was my handler at the fashion show too! She also works with me during the week when she comes to see me. I need an owner who understands both breeds of my mix and who will give me clear and consistent boundaries. I also need my new family to continue my obedience training to make sure I know you are in charge. If you are looking for a dog with the best to offer of two great breeds, come see me.
Omelet

Omelet
Well, hello there! I'm Omelet. While I'm not exactly an edible egg dish, I am quite the handsome and friendly kitty. I am a five-year-old neutered male with short white hair and a few grey spots. My previous family surrendered me to the shelter because the other cat in the home did not like me. I do like most other cats, however, and have even been staying in one of the shelter's cat community rooms with a bunch of feline friends. If you're on the lookout for a great boy, look no further. I'm the cat for you!
Surge and Sage

Surge and Sage
Hi there! We're Surge and Sage. We are two handsome neutered male ferrets. Our previous family surrendered us to the shelter because they no longer had enough time for us. Surge is a four-year-old with light sable coloring. Sage is a three-year-old albino. We are both friendly and are great companions that will need to find a home together. Ferrets are very gregarious and typically get along with most other ferrets they may live with. We're excitable, fun and very curious. Please visit the shelter soon to learn more about us.
