Sunday, Aug. 2012:30 p.m. A 2002 Mitsubishi sedan operated by Francesca Desario, 18, of 77 Raynes Neck Road, York, went off Raynes Neck Road and struck a tree head on. Damage was estimated at $7,000.
1:24 p.m. An employee of York's Wild Kingdom reported someone had cleaned out the soda machines at the park sometime during the night. The total cash taken was estimated between $200 and $250.
9:05 p.m. Stephen Devine, 39, of 7 Long Beach Ave., York, was charged with a violation of conditions of release and sale/use of drug paraphernalia on Long Beach Avenue. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.
10:56 p.m. Christina Dorsi, 21, of 48 Suffolk St., Medford, Mass., was charged with sale/use of drug paraphernalia on Route 1. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.
Monday, Aug. 21
1:11 a.m. Jonathan Southgate, 18, of 13 Cleveland, North Andover, Mass., was charged with criminal operating under the influence and illegal possession of liquor by a minor on Route 1. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Dec. 7.
1:46 a.m. Michael Wingate, 55, of 76 Dwight St., Chicopee, Mass., was charged with criminal operating under the influence on Ridge Road. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Dec. 7.
Tuesday, Aug. 22
3:10 p.m. A resident of Cycad Avenue reported a scratch on a rear window and pry marks on the trunk of his 2000 Saturn sedan made sometime during the night. Entry was not gained. A pry bar was found on the resident's lawn. Damage was estimated at $100.
4:24 p.m. Robert Ladner, 18, of 235 Centre Ave., Rockland, Mass., was charged with theft by unauthorized taking on Bay Street in connection with the theft of a Chinese throwing star from Saxony Imports on Railroad Avenue in York Beach. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.
Wednesday, Aug. 23
11:10 a.m. A 2004 Honda sedan owned by Susan A. Connolly and operated by John F. Connolly, 77, of 68 Blossom Terrace, Shrewsbury, Mass., and a 2005 Dodge van operated by Carole J. Chapman, 59, of 12 Rocky Ledge Road, Merrimack, N.H., were in collision on Route 1. Damage was estimated at $2,000 to the Honda, $1,500 to the Dodge.
11:58 a.m. An Exeter, N.H., woman and a Dover, N.H., man, both employees at the York Wild Kingdom, reported the theft of various items from their vehicles while parked in the employees' parking lot. Items taken included a laptop computer valued at $200, an iPod charging cable, a pack of cigarettes, loose change, a purse, a flash stick, and a pair of sunglasses. Value of the items other than the laptop was over $100.
1:24 p.m. A resident of Caincrest Road reported scratches on the door and casing of the door to their home. Entry was gained and prescription drugs valued at $100 were taken. Damage to the home was estimated at $50.
2:43 p.m. Scott Eric Rudolph, 28, of Caincrest Road, York, was charged with forgery, receiving stolen property and unlawful possession of scheduled drugs (Flexiril). He was taken to York County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.
10:10 p.m. A 1998 Chevrolet van operated by Rodney Lam, 61, of 3 Sparrow Lane, York, owned by Qing W. Wang, and a 2003 Ford van operated by Joseph H. Turgeon, 37, of Box 128, York Beach, were in collision on Route 1. Damage was estimated at $5,000 to the Chevrolet, $3,000 to the Ford.
Thursday, Aug. 24
3:40 p.m. A 2002 Ford sedan operated by Kelly L. Parmenter, 38, of Box 562, Berwick, owned by Maryellen Quimet of 55 Woodland Hills, South Berwick, and a 2000 Buick sedan operated by Edmund L. Tivnan, 81, of 284 Beverly Road, Worcester, Mass., were in collision on Route 1. Damage was estimated at $2,500 to the Ford, $4.500 to the Buick.
9:42 p.m. A 17-year-old Woburn, Mass., boy was charged with criminal operating under the influence, possession of a useable amount of marijuana, illegal transportation of liquor by a minor and sale/use of drug paraphernalia on Bay Street. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 2.
10:43 p.m. A 14-year-old York boy was charged with possession of a useable amount of marijuana on Freeman Street. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 2.
Friday, Aug. 25
3:09 p.m. Michael Randall, 19, of 544 Bragdon Ave., Wells, was charged with operating beyond license restrictions on Hannaford Drive. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Dec. 7.
3:09 p.m. Matthew Batson, 22, of 49 Woodlane Circle, Wells, was charged with possession of a useable amount of marijuana, and permitting unlawful use of a motor vehicle on Hannaford Drive. He is scheduled to appear in York District court Dec. 7.
3:57 p.m. A York woman reported the theft of an iPod valued at $400 from a motor vehicle while it was parked at the Beach Ball Field over Memorial Day weekend.
4:28 p.m. Judith D. Rudolph, 67, of 5 Caincrest Road, York, was charged with assault on Caincrest Road. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.
7:54 p.m. A 17-year-old Windham, N.H., boy was charged with sale/use of drug paraphernalia, trafficking in dangerous knives and unlawful use of a license/permit/identification on Railroad Avenue. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 2.
11:13 p.m. A 1999 Toyota sedan owned by John W. Mahoney and operated by Marjorie C. Mahoney, 50, of 6 Elaine Road, Stoneham, Mass., and a 1968 Dodge two-door parked by Wayne D. Avery, 29, of 654 York St., York, were in collision in a parking lot on Ocean Avenue. Damage was estimated at $500 to the Toyota, $1,500 to the Dodge.
11:22 p.m. David Hutchins, 42, of Box 795, Ogunquit, was charged with criminal operating under the influence and refusal to sign a summons on Shore Road. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Dec. 7.
Saturday Aug. 26
12:25 a.m. Peter J. O'Donnell, 27, of 1032 South St., Roslindale, Mass., was charged with criminal operating under the influence at the York Beach ball field. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Dec. 7.
10:53 p.m. Stephen P. Zuk, 27, of 33 New Town Road, York, was charged with reckless conduct on New Town Road. He was taken to York County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in York District court Sept. 13.
11:09 p.m. A 14-year-old York girl was charged with illegal possession of alcohol on Beacon Street. Edward Donnell, 19, of Box 1854, 3 Sonny's Lane, York Beach, was charged with furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child in connection with the initial charge on Beacon Street. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5 and the juvenile is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 2.
