More vehicles broken into at York's Wild Kingdom

YORK BEACH - For the second straight week, items were taken from vehicles belonging to employees at York's Wild Kingdom while they were parked in the employee parking lot.

On Wednesday, Aug. 23, two employees from New Hampshire reported items taken.

A Dover, N.H., man and an Exeter, N.H., woman reported to police that a laptop computer valued at $200 had been taken from one car and an iPod charging cable, a pack of cigarettes, loose change, a purse, a flash stick and a pair of sunglasses valued at over $100 were taken from the other.

Saturday, Aug. 19, police received a report that vehicles owned by four employees were also broken into.

Items that were taken included compact discs valued at $1,000, an iPod valued at $400, $40 in loose change, two wallets valued at $50, a makeup case valued at $20 and a visor CD holder valued at $100. Those vehicles had been unlocked.
