Friday, Aug. 25

1:30 p.m. A 2001 Ford van operated by Mary P. Parenteau, 62, of Box 713, Ogunquit, left Route 1, striking a road sign, some cement blocks and running over a felled tree. Damage to the van was estimated at $3,000.

2:15 p.m. A 1997 Mitsubishi two-door operated by Nicole R. Underwood, 20, of 94 Keay Road, Berwick, and a 1989 Lincoln sedan operated by James W. Park, 74, of 90 Scotland Bridge Road, York, were in collision in the parking lot at Hannaford. Damage was estimated at $1,000 to the Mitsubishi, $100 to the Lincoln.

Saturday, Aug. 26

11:30 p.m. A 1999 Ford pickup truck owned by Elizabeth Hutchins of 11 Main St., Ogunquit, operated by David Hutchins, 42, of Box 795, Ogunquit, went off Shore Road in a wooded area. Damage to the truck was estimated at $12,000.

Sunday, Aug. 27

12:43 a.m. Jeanne Nicholson, 40, of 54 Bromfield St., Newburyport, Mass., was charged with criminal operating under the influence on Long Beach Avenue. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court Dec. 7.

1:17 a.m. The theft of a brown cloth purse valued at $100 was reported from Gabby Sullivan's on Ocean Avenue in York Beach.

2:18 a.m. Lauren E. Swenson, 20, of 96 Exchange Ave., Medford, Mass., was charged with illegal possession of liquor by a minor at Short Sands Park. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.

4:31 a.m. Edward J. Wilson, 20, of 78 Bog Road, York, was charged with sale/use of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of a useable amount of marijuana on Old Post Road. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.

4:31 a.m. A 17-year-old York female was charged with operating a motor vehicle beyond license restrictions/conditions and administrative operating under the influence on Old Post Road. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court Dec. 7.

9:24 a.m. Barbara R. Gray, 53, of 462 Lafayette St., Salem, Mass., was charged with operating without a license, operating/allowing operation when registration is suspended and failure to stop for a red light on Route 1. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court Dec. 7.

10:46 a.m. Denise Paisley, 46, of 98 Beech Ridge Road, was charged with assault and John Paisley, 46, of 95 Beech Ridge Road, was charged with criminal threatening on Beech Ridge Road. Both are scheduled to appear in York District Court Sept. 20.

11:45 a.m. A 2004 Dodge sedan operated by Jeffrey A. Weave, 46, of 102 Stone Road, Dolgeville, N.Y., and a 1997 Saturn sedan owned by Kelly Boynton and operated by Patrick Boynton, 20, of 39 Oak Ridge Road, Biddeford, were in collision on Route 1. Damage was estimated at $4,000 to the Dodge, $1,000 to the Saturn.

11:53 a.m. The Inn at Long Sands on Long Beach Avenue reported damage to a hot tub that took place sometime between 11 p.m. on Aug. 26 and 6 a.m. on Aug. 27. Damage was estimated at $700.

2:38 p.m. A 1999 Chevrolet pickup truck operated by Dorothy J. Shaw, 68, of 102 Madison St., North Berwick, and a 1996 Volvo station wagon operated by Scott E. Norwood, 29, of 242 West Newton St., Boston, Mass., were in collision on Route 1. Damage was estimated at $800 to the Chevrolet, $3,500 to the Volvo.

Monday, Aug. 28

12:23 a.m. Adam L. Morgan, 26, of 161 York St., York, was charged with operating/allowing operation while a registration is suspended on Route 1. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Dec. 7.

8:09 a.m. A resident of River Farm Road reported a mailbox ripped off its post. Damage was estimated at $22.

8:40 a.m. A 1998 Ford sedan operated by Jennifer A. Goodwin, 34, of Box 70, Cape Neddick, went off Greenleaf Parsons Road, striking a mailbox and the soft shoulder. Damage was estimated at $1,500.

1:17 p.m. An Organug Road resident reported the theft of her University of Maine plates sometime during the night. The plates were valued at $23.

2:23 p.m. A Dock Road resident reported the theft of his license plates valued at $23 and other items valued at $20 sometime during the night.

6:54 p.m. An Orchard Farm Road resident reported his mailbox painted and the theft of New Hampshire license plates valued at $50.

9:45 p.m. Davis H. Knowles, 28, of Box 465, Haleiwa, Hawaii, was charged with failure to stop for an officer and possession of a useable amount of marijuana on Sandy Lane. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 5.

Tuesday, Aug. 29

6:48 p.m. A 15-year-old York boy was charged with operating an unregistered all-terrain vehicle, operating an all-terrain vehicle at a greater than prudent speed, operating an all-terrain vehicle to endanger and operating an all-terrain vehicle on a public way on Mountain Road. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Nov. 9.

9:21 p.m. William J. Rivers, 58, of 34 Mead St., Lowell, Mass., was charged with criminal operating under the influence on Cape Neddick Road. He is scheduled to appear in York District court Dec. 7.

Wednesday, Aug. 30

6:09 a.m. A Norwood Farms Road resident reported two Mercedes vehicles vandalized sometime during the night. He said the hood ornaments from a 2003 and 2002 Mercedes were taken. The ornaments were valued at $200 each.

7:53 a.m. A "William's Watch" sign was reported stolen from a residence on York Street in York Harbor. The sign was valued at $1,500.

11:09 a.m. A 2003 Toyota sedan operated by Linda Lou Butler, 65, of 1162 Grassy Knob Road, Rutherfordton, N.C., and a 2003 Ford pickup truck operated by Carl E. Hearrin, 38, of Box 295, Moody, were in collision on Route 1. Damage was estimated at $11,000 to the Toyota, $10,000 to the Ford.

11:47 a.m. Cameron M. Dillon, 18, of 161 Braveboat Harbor Road, Kittery Point, was charged with criminal trespass on Long Beach. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Nov. 9.

3:04 p.m. A 16-year-old York boy was charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct on Beach Street. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Oct. 2.

5:38 p.m. Casey W. Crowell, 18, of 21 Groundnut Hill Road, York, was charged with operating an unregistered all-terrain vehicle on Mountain Road. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Nov. 9.

6:11 p.m. A Sentry Hill Road resident reported the theft of a hood ornament from his 2005 Mercedes. The ornament was valued at $100.

9:37 p.m. Laura O. Guerrero, 32, of 1659 Research Blvd., Rockland, Md., was charged with sale/use of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of a useable amount of marijuana on Route 1. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court Nov. 9.

Thursday, Aug. 31

4:51 p.m. A 16-year-old York boy was charged with theft by unauthorized taking on Sparhawk Way. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Nov. 6.

7:04 p.m. A 2000 Mercedes convertible operated by Jean H. Flannery, 61, of 3030 R Ocean Blvd., Palm Beach, Fla., went off Old Post Road and struck several trees. Damage to the Mercedes was estimated at $25,000. Flannery was subsequently charged with criminal operating under the influence. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court Dec. 7.

9:54 p.m. Lauren D. Gard, 18, of 3024 Lana Lane, Marietta, Ga., was charged with illegal possession of liquor by a minor on Long Beach Avenue. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court Nov. 11.

Friday, Sept. 1

3:52 p.m. Kathryn A. Glasson, 34, of 2 Southside Road, York, was charged with allowing a dog to run at large on Route 1. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court Nov. 9.

7:45 p.m. A 2001 Nissan sedan operated by Christina M. Romanelli, 25, of 649 South Henderson Road, Apt. 212, King of Prussia, Pa., and a 2006 Toyota van owned by Gelco Corp. of 3 Capital Drive, Eden Prairie, Minn., operated by Lisa M. Martinez, 22, of Box 192946, San Juan, Puerto Rico, were in collision on Cape Neddick Road. Damage was estimated at $1,000 to each vehicle.

Saturday, Sept. 2

12:41 a.m. Allen A. Sequeira, 31, of Box 583, North Berwick, was charged with operating an unregistered vehicle for more than 150 days on Route 1. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Nov. 9.

12:50 a.m. Walter C. Smith, 56, of 549 East Hartford Ave., Uxbridge, Mass., was charged with criminal operating under the influence, sale/use of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of a useable amount of marijuana on Route 1. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Dec. 7.

9:14 a.m. A York man reported the theft of a wallet valued at $150 from the Inn on the Blues on Ocean Avenue.

12:10 p.m. A 2004 Jeep spot utility vehicle operated by Jane P. Wagner, 22, of 665 Center St., Ludlow, Mass., and a 2002 Ford van operated by Alison P. Walsh, 53, of Box 398, Cape Neddick, were in collision on Route 1. Damage was estimated at $2,500 to the Jeep, $3,800 to the Ford.

1:19 p.m. An Olympia, Wash., woman reported the theft of a beige cloth purse from Stage Neck Road. The purse was valued at $240. Also taken were $300 in cash, a palm pilot and a passport.

6:14 p.m. A 17-year-old York girl was charged with operating an unregistered vehicle on Old Post Road. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court Nov.
