YAA "Impressions of York" continues through Sept. 17
YORK - The York Art Association is having a busy year, celebrating its 50th anniversary with a succession of shows, the latest of which, "Impressions of York," is continuing through Sept. 17.The show chairwoman is member artist Rosalind Fedeli and the show is being judged by Rose Theriault of Rochester, N.H., an award-winning alumna of the University of New Hampshire who has taught in Vermont and Massachusetts, is a member of the N.H. and Ogunquit Art Associations, has won awards in a variety of media and has exhibited widely at venues as diverse as the Brickstore Museum, Currier Gallery, Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery, New England Center and Barn Gallery.
An original oil painting donated by YAA member Dennis Poirier will be raffled off to support the York Art Association's scholarship fund.
"Impressions of York," the Summer Specialty Show, opened Aug. 18 and continues through Sept. 17.
