D'Alessandro Fine Art Gallery announces autumn show

YORK - D'Alessandro Fine Art Gallery will present its 2006 Annual Autumn Show from Sept. 23 through Oct. 15.

This final exhibition of the season will feature "Beverly Hallam: Hard-Edge Monotypes" along with selected works by Stan Moeller, James Taliana, Nancy Demarett, Lesley Campbell and Anthony D'Alessandro.

An opening reception will be held on Sept. 23, from 5 to 8 p.m. and a gallery talk by Hallam is scheduled for Sept. 24 at 3 p.m.

"Beverly Hallam is a great innovator in art and this collection of monotypes displays her rich creativity and extraordinary technical prowess," D'Alessandro said. "She is a pioneer and a master of this medium."

Hallam's work is a part of the Maine Print Project.

The show is also the premier exhibit of Moeller's works from his residency in Normandy, France, and other works by Taliana, Demarett, Campbell, and D'Alessandro include regional landscape, seascape and abstract paintings.

Located on Cider Hill Road/Route 91, D'Alessandro Fine Art Gallery is a seasonal venue for nationally and internationally acclaimed artists.

Gallery hours are Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and by appointment.
