Meadow

Meadow
Are you looking for a truly unusual German shepherd dog? Your search is over! My name is Meadow and I am an eight-year-old spayed female. I was found as a stray and brought to the shelter. While staying here, the staff has discovered that I LOVE the kiddie pool! A shepherd who loves water is very unusual! I play with tennis balls in the water, too. The volunteers and staff have bathed me and brushed me out so my coat looks like a million bucks! I get along with some dogs after a proper introduction. If you have a dog at home make sure to bring him or her with you so that the staff can introduce us. If you have a cat at home, you should know that I will find them very tempting and unless they are very dog savvy, a cat free home might be best. I am frightened by sudden movements. That may be in part because my hearing is not 100 percent. Kids are okay as long as they are eight years old or older. While at the shelter I have not shown any possessiveness over toys or food. I appear to be housetrained, too. I have been going to the shelter dog obedience classes with volunteers. I do very well on the leash. When you work with me, remember that I may not hear you the first time, but get me to look up at you with my faithful eyes and I will sit, down or stay. When I look up at whoever is on the other end of the leash, my eyes are always smiling and it is hard to resist patting me on the head. I love to sit next to people and be stroked on the head. Because of my hearing, keeping me on a leash - which I do not mind - or in a fenced area is very important. I do not want to get lost again or get hurt. I would love to learn sign language, too. Yes, dogs have signs that they can be taught so owners can communicate with them. That would add even more to my charm! If you are looking for a truly extra ordinary, gentle German shepherd, make sure to stop by my kennel.

Geneva

Geneva
Ciao, I'm Geneva. I am a seven-year-old spayed female with medium-length seal point colored hair. The shelter took me in because I was found as a stray in the town of Waterboro. The shelter staff says I'm a very sweet girl that gets along well with other cats. I'm also quite the gorgeous girl, don't you agree? I would love to find a new family that will brush me regularly and give me all the care and love that I deserve. Please visit me soon and we'll embark on our new life together!

Dominick

Dominick
Hello there, my name is Dominick. I am an adorable eight-week-old male American breed rabbit. My previous family surrendered me to the shelter because they could no longer care for me. I have soft white and brown hair and love to be petted and loved. Since I'm so young, with regular, gentle handling, I'll mature into a wonderful companion bunny. Please visit me soon and we'll get to know one another!
