Football

The Fryeburg Raiders (0-4) came to York last Friday night, Sept.22, with a young team in search of their first win. On Sunday, Sept. 24, the York Pee Wee Youth Football A squad defeated Gorham 6-0; however, the York B team fell to their hosts by a score of 20-8 to split the event in Southern Maine Youth Football League action.

Soccer

"Two big wins against two highly ranked teams." At the end, the two of them walked across the field together, and really, you could not have scripted it any better.

Field Hockey

York High School field hockey continued to knock off all comers with wins in the past week over Lake Region, Wells and Gray-New Gloucester.

Cross Country

On Wednesday, Sept. 20, the girls' cross-country team and 15 members of the boys' team traveled north to Gray-New Gloucester High School to compete in an invitational meet.

Golf

On Friday, Oct. 13, Cape Neddick Country Club will host its first golf fundraiser for the York baseball program.
