Dawn Hill endorsed at Roberto's Restaurant event
OGUNQUIT - On Wednesday, Sept. 27, Roberto's Restaurant proprietors Kathy Cammarota and Tim Gregoire hosted a gathering for area business owners and residents to meet Dawn Hill, candidate for Maine House of Representative District 149.The gathering included over 50 individuals from Ogunquit, Wells and York.
"Dawn Hill is a fabulous candidate; a well respected individual and business leader. She is highly sensitive to the needs of the communities that she will serve," Cammarota said.
Maine State Treasurer Dave Lemoine was also on hand to answer state financial questions.
"We realize that she also has the connections to get things done," Cammarota noted of Hill's request to have Lemoine take part in the event to answer questions regarding taxpayer's concerns.
Over 25 area businesses and individual residents signed an endorsement for Hill during the course of the evening.
Guests at the gathering were served light refreshments and attended to by the staff at Roberto's.
"The outpouring of support is humbling," Hill said of the turnout. "I look forward to serving area residents and businesses as enthusiastically as their support of me."
