Leonard "Lenny" Hadley
YORK - Leonard "Lenny" W. Hadley, 90, of 30 Mallard Drive, died Friday, Sept. 29, 2006, in York Hospital.

He was born Dec. 21, 1915, in Enfield, N.H., son of George and Evelyn "Eva" (Whittier) Hadley, and lived in Concord, N.H., before moving to Springfield, Mass., with his family. He had worked for the Fuller Brush Co. for 30 years, and was a field manager in various locations.

He was an active member of the York Senior Center and enjoyed playing cribbage. He was a former Mason.

He leaves a son, David L. Hadley and his wife, Megan, of Guilford, Conn., and a sister-in-law, Barbara Hadley of Rhode Island, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

His wife, Katherine L. (King) Hadley, of almost 60 years; a sister, Eva Hadley, and a son, Peter J. Hadley, all predeceased him.

The funeral service for Mr. Hadley will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, in the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Road, York. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., prior to the funeral. Memorial contributions may be made to the York Senior Center, 36 Main St., York, ME 03909.
