Tee it up for York baseball
CAPE NEDDICK - On Friday, Oct. 13, Cape Neddick Country Club will host its first golf fundraiser for the York baseball program.This special event will help youth and school baseball programs by providing funding for the school baseball budget to improve field conditions; for programs beyond Little League - such as Babe Ruth, Senior League and American Legion - to provide team continuity, and purchasing needed training and video equipment for players and coaches.
The fundraiser tournament will use a scramble format with four players per team enjoying a day of golf at the Cape Neddick Country Club.
A box lunch will be available starting at 11 a.m., with a shotgun tee time set for 12:30 p.m.
The fee is $100 per player and includes the box lunch.
Team and individual prizes will be awarded.
