The Music Scene...
LEGENDARY SONGWRITER ERIC ANDERSEN will be making a rare Seacoast area appearance at Inn on the Blues on Tuesday, Oct. 31. Eric has released 30 albums in 40 years, was at the forefront of the Greenwich Village folk music scene in the 1960s, and greatly influenced contemporary songwriting styles. He remains active as a performer and songwriter, releasing a stream of recordings and touring worldwide from his home in Norway. After 40 years on stage, Eric Andersen continues to be a powerful performer. York's own Joyce Andersen (no relation), who has performed with him many times and recorded on his "Beat Avenue" CD, will open the show. Tickets are available at Inn on the Blues.
