Janet P. Marois
YORK - Janet P. Marois, 63, of 9 Sheru Lane, died suddenly Monday, Oct. 23, 2006, after injuries sustained in an auto accident in Conway, New Hampshire.She was born Oct. 2, 1943, in Berlin, N.H., daughter of Richard and Armandine (Thibeault) Campagna. She had worked as a hairdresser at the Hair Outlet in Kittery for 24 years before recently retiring. She was a member of St. Christopher's Church and an avid knitter. She was a wonderful wife, cherished mother and doting nana.
She leaves her husband of 38 years, Robert P. Marois; two daughters, Kristine J. Smith and her husband, Michael J. Smith of Nashua, N.H., and Karen M. Shaw and her husband Paul F. Shaw of Scarborough; a brother, Paul Campagna and his wife, Therese Campagna of Sun City Center, Fla.; four grandchildren, Lauren and Kevin Smith of Nashua, N.H., and Meghan and Ethan Shaw of Scarborough.
The funeral Mass for Mrs. Marois will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 27, in St. Christopher's Church, 4 Barrell Lane, York. Burial will follow in First Parish Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26, in the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Road.
