Shellfish harvesting licenses for 2006-2007 available
OGUNQUIT - Town Clerk Judy Shaw Kagiliery announced that Ogunquit clam licenses will go on sale on Friday, Oct. 27, at 8 a.m. downstairs at Dunaway Center.Shellfish harvesting season opens Nov. 10 and closes March 31. The flats will be open for harvesting every other weekend and every holiday. Licenses will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis and, of the 114 licenses issued, 104 will be for residents at $25, 10 are allocated for non-resident costing $50, and one-day licenses will be offered at $15.
