Late-breaking news: Chamber announces York Citizen of the Year

YORK - The Greater York Region Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors announced Tuesday afternoon that Russell A. Peterson has been named York's Citizen of the Year.Peterson and the chamber's other award winners will be honored at the annual membership dinner on Thursday, Nov. 16, at Spring Hill Lodge in South Berwick.
Peterson served as past chairman of the chamber board, on numerous boards and committees and is chair of Old York Historical Society's Heritage Campaign.
