Martha Canfield
YORK - Martha A. (Grover) Canfield, 60, of 2 Canfield Place, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, in the Harbor Home.She was born Aug. 24, 1946, daughter of Philip P. and Janice B. (Perkins) Grover. She had co-owned and operated the Newson-Canfield Insurance agency in York for 10 years and loved cats.
She leaves her husband of 37 years, Raymond L. Canfield; her mother, Janice B. Grover of Ogunquit; a sister, Janice Chandler, and a nephew, Christopher Chandler, both of Rockland, Mass.
The funeral for Martha was held Nov. 4, in the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home with burial in the First Parish Cemetery.
