Christmas shop early for a good cause
YORK HARBOR - On Friday, Nov. 10, St. George's Episcopal Church will hold an auction for its Outreach Program.The auction preview is at 5:30 p.m. with the auction itself to begin at 6:30 p.m. at Foster's Clambake Pavilion on Axholme Road.
All funds raised will be given to local agencies designated to help those less fortunate.
Items to be auctioned include six pieces of brand new wicker furniture, two brand new leather electric recliners, autographed Boston sports memorabilia, works of art, gift certificates for restaurants as well as for services, a beautiful hand-quilted table run and a quilt, children's games and many more items that are useful and make great gifts.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase at this public event.
