Friday, Oct. 27

11:29 a.m. A Massachusetts woman reported the theft of a pair of diamond earrings, a jewelry box and necklace while she was a guest at the Cliff House on Shore Road in early September. Total value of the missing items was set at $3,610.

Sunday Oct. 29

7:15 a.m. A Long Sands Road resident reported the theft of a Remington shotgun and Bushnell scope from a truck parked at his residence. The shotgun, valued at $698, was eventually returned but the scope, valued at $109.95, remains missing.

Monday, Oct. 30

12:40 p.m. A 2006 Toyota pickup truck owned by Tree Health Company of Rochester, N.H., operated by Lee Gilman, 57, of 28A Old Manchester Road, Amherst, N.H., received an estimated $4,000 in damage when it struck a Jersey barrier on Cider Hill Road.

Tuesday, Oct. 31

8:21 p.m. Matthew E. Hensel, 18, of 840 Tatnic Road, North Berwick, was charged with criminal mischief on Bay Haven Road. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Jan. 4. Two 17-year-old boys and a 16-year-old boy from Wells were also charged and will appear in York District Court on Jan. 29.

Wednesday, Nov. 1

5:11 p.m. Timothy Hanson, 18, of Route 1, York, was charged with a violation of probation on Route 1. He was taken to York County Jail in Alfred.

Thursday, Nov. 2

2 p.m. Paul D. Kimball, 29, of 150 Rogers Road, Berwick, was charged with operating while a license is suspended or revoked on Rogers Road. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Feb. 8.

5:54 p.m. Thomas H. Smith, 48, of 1 Birch Hill Road, York, was charged on a York County Sheriff's Department warrant for failure to appear to answer a charge of driving without being licensed. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Feb. 8.

Friday, Nov. 3

4:30 a.m. A 2004 Chevrolet sedan operated by Carol A. Forte, 61, of 35 Beacon St., York Beach, received an estimated $4,000 in damage when it struck a tree after swerving to miss a deer on Beacon Street.

7:50 a.m. Peter G. Ruger, 41, of Box 1266, York Beach, was charge with illegal attachment of plates in Cape Neddick. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Feb. 8.

11:02 a.m. Rafu Gaferico, 23, of 69 North Village Road, York, was charged with operating without being licensed on Greenleaf Parsons Road. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Feb. 8.

11:55 a.m. A 1999 Subaru station wagon operated by Myra Macfie, 66, of 109 Town Farm Road, Hallowell, and a 2002 Nissan sedan operated by Gail Barzelay, 54, of 5 Mallard Drive, York, owned by Roger Barzelay, were in collision on Route 1 at the intersection with Plaisted Road and York Street. Damage was estimated at $1,100 to the Subaru, $500 to the Nissan.

6 p.m. The York Sports Center on Route 1 reported the theft of a coffee maker and coffee pot valued at $500.

6:40 p.m. Jeffrey Welsh, 60, of 101 Chestnut St., Carmel, N.Y., was charged with operating beyond license restrictions or conditions on York Street in York Harbor. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Feb. 8.

Saturday, Nov. 4

9:23 a.m. A North Brookfield, Mass., resident reported his summer residence broken into on Beacon Street. Damage to a door and window was estimated at $40.

10:08 a.m. A Contoocook, N.H., resident reported his summer residence on Sunset Road had been broken into. Damage was estimated at about $100.

7:53 p.m. A Southside Road resident reported his 2001 Chevrolet had been egged. The car was struck at least twice on the driver's side door where the paint had been chipped. Damage was estimated at $400.
