Sunday, Nov. 5

2:28 a.m. Shane P. Brackett, 21, of 23 Winslow Road, Gorham, was charged with receiving stolen property, operating while a license is suspended or revoked and criminal operating under the influence on Route 1. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Jan. 4.

10:37 a.m. A Plaisted Road man reported his vehicle struck by an egg while he was driving on Long Sands Road. Damage was estimated at $300.

10:13 p.m. Alexander Oley, 21, of 33 Woodside Meadow Road, York, was charged with operating without being licensed and illegal possession of a suspended license on Route 1. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Dec. 7.

Monday, Nov. 6

8:32 a.m. A Cider Hill Road man reported the theft of his 22-foot Sunline camper valued at $4,200. Police are investigating.

11:50 a.m. A Sunset Road woman reported her residence broken into. There was damage to window glass and a wooden door estimated at $180.

10:36 p.m. Nicholas Spartichino, 21, of 170 Windsor St., Apt. 7, Cambridge, Mass., was charged with assault, criminal restraint and criminal threatening on Route 1.

Tuesday, Nov. 7

9:51 a.m. A Thistleberry Lane resident reported someone had cut branches from a rhododendron sometime during the night. Damage was estimated at $50.

8:37 p.m. Anthony DiElsi, 18, of 7 Simpson Hill Road, Cape Neddick, was charged with possession of a useable amount of marijuana on York Street. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Jan. 4.

Wednesday, Nov. 8

2 p.m. A 2000 BMW station wagon operated by Nancy C. Stern, 54, of 1 River Road, Cape Neddick, received an estimated $800 in damage when it was struck by an unknown vehicle while parked in the lot at the York Community Service Association's Thrift Shop on Route 1.

3:26 p.m. Brandon Apple, 25, of Box 516, York, was charged with assault, terrorizing and criminal mischief at the Country View Motel on Route 1 in Cape Neddick. An estimated $150 in damage was done to a door in the motel. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Nov. 22.

3:30 p.m. A Cider Hill Road man reported finding his driveway blocked by what appeared to be trash. There was an estimated $1,000 in items included in the pile.

Thursday, Nov. 9

2:30 p.m. A Manchester, N.H., man reported a break-in at his cottage on Rockland Avenue. A Playstation 2, assorted games and DVD's were among the items taken. Total value of the missing property was set at $240.

3:53 p.m. An Old Post Road man reported the theft of between a half and three-quarters of a cord of wood. The wood was valued at $200.

5 p.m. A 2002 Toyota sedan operated by Leigh S. Waldman, 52, of 52 Sunrise Terrace, York, sustained an estimated $1,250 in damage when a deer ran into its front right side panel on Sunrise Terrace. The deer ran into the woods following the accident.

5:05 p.m. A 2002 Jeep sport utility vehicle operated by Joshua T. Godard, 24, of 41A Main St., York, and a 1989 Dodge sedan operated by Revers C. Deveraux of Box 1530, Elmhood Hotel, Wells, were in collision on the Spur Road at the southbound ramp to Interstate 95. Damage was estimated at $10,000 to the Jeep, $8,500 to the Dodge.

Friday, Nov. 10

9:59 a.m. A York man reported damage to the windshield of his Volkswagen Jetta while it was parked at Short Sands Park. Damage was estimated at $250.

10:54 a.m. Siobhan Dow, 41, of 15 Otis Ave., Kittery, was charged with operating while a license is suspended or revoked on Route 1. Dow is scheduled to appear in York District Court Feb. 8.

1:55 p.m. A 2005 Pontiac two-door operated by Laurie A. Liliberte, 49, of 257 River Road, Lincoln, R.I., and a 2003 Ford sport utility vehicle operated by Norah Kathleen Mogan, 35, of 271 Waterloo St., Liverpool, Nova Scotia, were in collision on York Street. Damage was estimated at $1,000 to the Pontiac, $100 to the Ford.

5:10 p.m. A 2005 Mercedes sedan operated by Gordon W. Moran, 68, of 12 River Meadow Ext., York, and a 1999 Buick sedan owned by Pamela Murdough of 35 Fall Mill Road, York, operated by Craig T. Murdough, 18, of 35 Fall Mill Road, were in collision on Route 1. Damage was estimated at $5,000 to the Mercedes, $2,500 to the Buick.

Saturday, Nov. 11

1:54 p.m. A 1994 Chevrolet pickup truck operated by Shane St. Pierre, 26, of Box 601, York, and a 2006 Ford pickup truck operated by Patrick Joseph Dolen, 50, of 2560 Valley View Road, Bethlehem, Pa., were in collision on Long Beach Avenue. Damage was estimated at $1,200 to each vehicle.

5 p.m. A 2002 GMC sport utility vehicle operated by Kristina Faskianos, 18, of 409 Cider Hill Road, went off Cider Hill Road, receiving an estimated $5,000 in damage.

6 p.m. A 2002 Chrysler sedan operated by John Buckless, 54, of 5 Darcy Road, York, received an estimated $1,000 in damage when it slowed to allow a deer to cross Woodbridge Road and was struck by a second deer. Both animals ran into the woods following the accident.

Sunday, Nov. 12

7:12 p.m. A 2005 Honda two-door owned by Randy B. Roberts of 15 Long Farm Road, Ogunquit, operated by a 16-year-old Ogunquit boy, received an estimated $1,250 in damage when struck by a deer on Route 1.
