Helping hands needed to help neighbors in need
YORK - If you want to help make a difference in the community, then you'll have three chances in the week ahead to do just that.The York Community Service Association is seeking volunteers to help prepare holiday baskets for those in need.
Just arrive at St. Christopher's Church on Sunday, Nov. 19, from 4 to 6 p.m., and Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 20 and 21, from 8 a.m. to noon, to lend a hand and be sure residents in need will be able to have a happy Thanksgiving later this month.
