Sunday, Nov. 12

10:28 a.m. An employee of the York Wild Kingdom reported someone had entered the park through the York Beach entrance and cut fences releasing a kangaroo. There was no estimate of damage and the kangaroo was found and relocated.

Monday, Nov. 13

5:19 a.m. Timothy J. Carignan, 18, of 187 School St., Berwick, was charged with sale/use of drug paraphernalia on Route 1. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Jan. 4.

Tuesday, Nov. 14

1:22 p.m. A 17-year-old York boy was charged with violation of conditions of release on Main Street in York Beach. He was taken to the youth center in South Portland.

6:10 p.m. A 1998 Audi sedan operated by a 16-year-old York Beach boy received an estimated $16,000 in damage in a one-vehicle accident on Southside Road. The sedan went out of control, fishtailed, struck a stonewall, spun 180 degrees, struck the wall again bouncing off it, turning another 180 degrees and coming to a stop.

Wednesday, Nov. 15

12:14 a.m. Ryan S. Clauson, 18, of 5 Beaver Bam Road, South Berwick, was charged with possession of a suspended license on Route 1. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Feb. 8.

2:03 a.m. Jennifer L. Wilson, 30, of 78 Bog Road, York, was charged with violation of conditions of release on Bog Road. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court Jan. 4.

8:58 a.m. A 2001 Honda sedan operated by Jeanine S. Means, 48, of 15 Elizabeth Lane, York, received an estimated $1,500 in damage when it struck the median and roof at the drive-through at Bank of America on Long Sands Road.

10:55 p.m. Eugene Crum, 59, of 60 Picture Road, Belfast, Maine, was charged with criminal operating under the influence on Route 1. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Feb. 8.

Thursday, Nov. 16

5:30 p.m. A 2004 Pontiac van operated by Jill Norton, 43, of 436 Ridge Road, York Beach, received an estimated $3,500 in damage when a deer ran into its right side on Cider Hill Road. The deer ran into the woods following the accident.

Friday, Nov. 17

12:49 a.m. David W. Kimball, 20, of 4 Greenfield Drive, Kittery, was charged with operating beyond license restriction/conditions and administrative operating under the influence in violation of Maine's zero tolerance law at Hogan's Court. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Feb. 8.

6:08 p.m. An Algonquin Drive woman reported the theft of 15 CD's valued at $175, sunglasses valued at $50 and a radar detector valued at $360 from her unlocked vehicle. The vehicle had not been used since Nov. 15.

9:49 p.m. Kevin Batchelder, 43, of 5 High Knoll Road, South Berwick, was charged with failure to provide proof of insurance and operating an unregistered vehicle. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Feb. 8.

11:09 p.m. A 15-year-old York boy was charged with illegal possession of a useable amount of marijuana and sale/use of drug paraphernalia and a 17-year-old York boy was charged with sale/use of drug paraphernalia on Route 91. Both are scheduled to appear in York Juvenile Court Jan. 29.

Saturday, Nov. 18

7:44 p.m. Johnnie Brooks, 29, of 296 Route 1, was charged with reckless conduct on Route 1. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Jan. 4.
