Duke

Duke
Bonjour, my friends, Duke here - a charming older gentleman in search of a loving family. I am a 13-year-old neutered male German shepherd dog. I had a previous stay at the shelter and was adopted, but my family brought me back to the shelter because they no longer had the time for me. Dogs do get lonely when they are all alone, you know. I am interested in cats at first, but should settle down with them. I also like other dogs who respect my age and limitations. I also like kids of all ages, but prefer that they be respectful of my age and physical limitations. I do appear to be housetrained and have not shown any possessiveness issues here at the shelter. I would like to find a calm home environment where I can live out my retirement years. The shelter staff says I'm a great older dog with a lot of love and companionship to offer!

Kevin

Kevin
Don't you think I have the most expressive eyes? Hi there, I'm Kevin. I came to the shelter as a stray from Saco. I am trying to find my forever home because I somehow lost my last home. I am a black kitty who has two white whiskers and just a little fleck of white on one of my legs. So I guess you can say that I'm not completely black. I've heard that black cats don't get adopted at shelters. They get passed over - I'm not sure why - so if I say I have some white maybe that will help me find my forever home. I am a gentle boy who is two years old. I enjoy being petted, especially under the chin. When you do, I will lean into your hand to have you keep on scratching me. I have really silky fur, which you will want to just run your hands through. I also talk a little when you make a kissing noise. If you are looking for a great kitty who just wants to be loved, then just stop in for a visit. I'm sure we will hit it off.

Scotty

Scotty
Hi, my name is Scotty. I am a five-month-old dwarf albino bunny. I came to the shelter, because I was stressing out the cats in the household, and myself. I would really like to find a home that doesn't have any cats. I am a friendly guy who is looking for my forever home. Did you know that white bunnies with pink eyes get overlooked at shelters? I don't understand why. I think having pink-colored eyes makes me extra special. What do you think? I think I look goofy in my picture. You have to come see me in person to see how handsome I really am. I am a super sweet guy who likes to be petted. I would love to find a house where I can be loved. Could it be with you?
