U-12 girls' hockey playing tough

By Stan Ross

YORK - York under-12 girls' hockey traveled to Reading, Mass., on Saturday, Nov. 25, and came home with a 0-0 tie.

A great effort was put in by Rachel Yorke in net. It was an up-and-down game with many scoring opportunities by both teams, but neither could capitalize.

The team this year consists of seven returning and eight new players to the game, and has recorded a 1-3-1 season so far, playing in the tough Bay State Girls Hockey League.
