Sunday, Nov. 19

5 p.m. A 2002 Chevrolet sport utility vehicle operated by Kristina Faskianos, 18, of 409 Cider Hill Road, York, owned by Charles Faskianos, received an estimated $8,000 in damage when it struck a deer on Cider Hill Road.

8:15 p.m. James Cahill, 20, of 13 Main St., York, was charged with violation of conditions of release, assault and refusing to submit to arrest or detention on Long Beach Avenue. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Jan. 4.

Tuesday, Nov. 21

1:41 a.m. Brian J. Murer, 23, of 15 Long Beach Ave., York, was charged with criminal operating under the influence and imprudent speed on Long Sands Road at the intersection with Ridge Road. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Feb. 8.

6:57 p.m. Donald Rivers, 59, of 790 Ocean Avenue Ext., York, was charged with criminal operating under the influence on Main Street in York Beach. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Feb. 8.

Wednesday, Nov. 22

7:15 a.m. Walter W. McGuire, Jr., 45, of 154 Union St., Rockport, was charged with operating/allowing to operate when registration is suspended on the Spur Road. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Feb. 8.

11:16 p.m. Tracey A. Gaudette, 38, of 17 Goosefare Drive, Old Orchard Beach, was charged with criminal operating under the influence on Route 1 at Old Post Road. Gaudette is scheduled to appear in York District Court Feb. 8.

Thursday, Nov. 23

1:24 a.m. A Greenleaf Parsons Road woman reported someone seen running away from a vehicle parked in the driveway. Nothing was reported stolen.

9:44 a.m. A Ridge Road man reported damage to his mailbox sometime during the night. The mailbox was valued at $25.

6:45 p.m. A 2003 Toyota sedan operated by Roma G. Babula, 68, of 89 Portsmouth Ave., Greenland, N.H.; a 2004 Ford convertible operated by Randolph H. Zaminette, 58, of Box 249, York Beach, and a 2003 Toyota sedan owned by Denise Bemers of 22 Thatcher Brook Lane, Biddeford, operated by Bernard L. Blais, 46, were in collision with a deer on Route 1. Damage was estimated at $600 to Babula's Toyota, $900 to the Ford convertible and $900 to the Toyota operated by Blais.

10:48 p.m. A North Berwick woman reported the theft of a purse from her unlocked vehicle while it was parked on Rogers Road in York Beach from 5:30 to 10 p.m. The purse, which was valued at $50, contained $800 in cash, credits cards, a checkbook and a cell phone valued at $25.

Friday, Nov. 24

11:25 a.m. A 2003 Toyota sport utility vehicle operated by Nicholas S. Strater, 62, of Box 69, York, owned by Jean A. Strater, received an estimated $7,000 in damage when it went off Seabury Road and struck a tree.

3:10 p.m. A Salem, N.H., man reported the theft of a cell phone and a black fleece jacket from his vehicle while parked on Cycad Avenue. The items were valued at $290.

8:28 p.m. A Saltwater Drive man reported the light was on in his Volvo that was parked in the driveway and someone going through the car. Nothing was apparently taken.

11:56 p.m. Two 16-year-old York males were charged with receiving stolen property and one was also charged with sale/use or drug paraphernalia on Greenleaf Parsons Road in connection with a series of thefts of materials from cars. Found in the vehicle were a variety of electronics including a satellite radio, iPod, radar detector, digital camera and an XM radio. Total value of the items was put at about $2,000. They are scheduled to appear in York Juvenile Court Jan. 29.

Saturday, Nov. 25

5:33 p.m. A 1994 Pontiac two-door operated by a 16-year-old York boy and owned by Alison L. Jolie of 24 Donica Road received an estimated $1,500 in damage when a deer ran into its front end on Cider Hill Road.
