Two charged in stealing spree
YORK - Two 16-year-old juveniles were arrested shortly before midnight on Friday, Nov. 24, in connection with a series of thefts from cars in York and South Berwick, as well as possibly Ogunquit.Both boys were charged on Greenleaf Parsons Road with receiving stolen property and one was also charged with sale/use of drug paraphernalia.
Police said anyone missing items from their vehicles should contact the York Police Department to see if these items were recovered in the arrest.
Found in the vehicle in which the juveniles were riding were electronics items, including radios, an iPod, radar detector and digital camera. Police said the items were valued at more than $2,000.
The juveniles are scheduled to appear in York Juvenile Court on Jan. 29.
