York Public Library seeks exhibitors for Second Annual Preschool Fair
YORK VILLAGE - The York Public Library is calling all organizations that offer programs and services for preschool-age children. That's because the library is now organizing its Second Annual Preschool Fair, which will take place on Saturday, Jan. 27, from 10 a.m. to noon, as an opportunity for preschools and other providers of enrichment programs for young children to exhibit their activities and services to their target audience. After the success of last year's fair, many participants are returning.
In addition to individual displays, exhibitors are invited to demonstrate their offerings and help make the event entertaining and informative for the whole family. A raffle of donated memberships and classes will benefit the York Public Library Children's Room.
There is no charge to participate, but registration is required and space is limited. Registration forms are available at the library and must be returned by Dec. 15. Registered exhibitors will have space for a display about their programs and are encouraged to provide a small child-centered activity to allow parents a moment to ask questions. Exhibitors may also supply information to be included in a resource catalog available at the fair, and are encouraged to donate a raffle prize.
