Clarifying the clam flat issue

A report in last week's edition may have misled readers to believe the clam flats along the Ogunquit River were closed by the action of the Maine Department of Marine Resources when, in fact, the discovery of a mechanical malfunction in the pumping stations managed by the Ogunquit Sewer District was discovered during a week that the clam flats were closed anyway.
