THE FALL OF A TOWER. The York High School athletic field tower was removed by Abbott Brothers and consumed in a controlled burn on Nov. 27 and 28. The decision had to be made after it was ruled the building was no longer structurally sound. A decision of what will be built to replace the tower is forthcoming, and the York School Committee is expected to discuss plans at its meeting tonight, Wednesday, Dec. 6, at the York Public Library.
